Second time of watching / listening to this now - still as fab! Think I might be saving it to my favourites... it is truly inspiring!
ReplyDeleteBeen meandering through your blogs much like I might a fascinating garden. It's rare for me to be on a site that inspires. Yours is one such. Your quotes, your own thoughts - speak to the awe of life. Thank you. It gets lonely out here. Here's a quote for you: "I knew in that moment, we were never meant to surrender our childlike innocence, to trade a world in which we fit like a glove for one that hung on us like ill-fitting hand-me-downs. However, all about us insisted on our membership. And instead of a handshake or a mystical password as entrance into this spurious society, we agreed instead to share a lie, the one that says we’re safe, secure, and fulfilled living this way." From "Dying to Know"
ReplyDeleteI just discovered Awolnation a few weeks ago! Several of their songs are on my playlist for my next book. I LOVE Sail, and this is an amazing video. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis track became my editing theme tune for a while, Shallee! It's almost like a scene from Cloud Riders come to life. It would make a great soundtrack for a film version! ;o)
ReplyDeleteI entirely love this band, this song, this video. It captures a mood/emotion that inspires. Next, might I recommend Temper Trap--Sweet Disposition. xx
ReplyDeleteOh I love that track as well, Sarah. Goes scuttling off to YouTube to play the vid! :O)
